Over the last growing year
to November 2025...
We had a special visitor on 23rd July 2025 – the High Sheriff of Hertfordshire, Nicholas Buxton. The High Sheriff is the King's representative in Hertfordshire for all matters related to the judiciary and this year has taken as his theme Nurture through Nature, and is visiting projects that help to keep people safe.
It was really great to meet the High Sheriff and be recognised for the work our project does to encourage people to improve their well-being by getting outside, enjoying gardening and growing and the benefits it can bring.
The High Sheriff took time to meet everyone and talk about the plots being used and the vegetables and fruit being grown. It was a lovely visit.
